There is no elevator on the premises. You must take the stairs to the 2nd floor. If accessibility is an issue, please contact your practitioner ASAP.

Parking
There is metered, on-street parking available around the office on Julia and the surrounding side streets for $3/hour. Note that the parking lots and garages around the area usually charge more. There are plenty of places to lock up your bike around the area as well. The streetcar is also 1/2 a block away.

What To Wear
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing with easy access to your arms (from your elbow down) and legs (from your knee down). It’s best to avoid arriving on an empty stomach.
Payment
For your convenience, we will charge your card on file for payment at the end of your treatment. We also accept cash. Payment is due at the time of service.
Please note that we have a strict cancellation policy, so appointments altered within 24 hours of the scheduled treatment time will result in a fee. You can read more about the policy's specifics when you fill out your intake and consent forms.

Intake and Consent Forms
We use an online scheduling system called Jane. From there you will receive booking confirmations, appointment reminders, and your intake and consent forms via email.
These forms take about 10-20 minutes to complete. Please plan to fill them out at least 24 hours before your first scheduled appointment.

Your First Consultation and Treatment
During your initial consultation, your practitioner will go over your current symptoms, health history, and wellness goals in depth. Each patient comes in with a unique pattern which determines which acupuncture points, herbs, and/or other Chinese Medicine tools we'll choose to use during your visit. After that, we'll answer any questions you have, and continue on to start the treatment portion of your visit!
By the end of the hour, you'll have an idea of how we might be able to help, how many visits you may need, and additional resources you can refer to at home, helping to maintain progress in between sessions.
